Coaching Corps coach Todd Whitehead has seen firsthand how many communities struggle to keep their after-school sports programs in place. “This is a serious thing – they need people here,” says Todd, who coaches basketball at BAHIA. “These kids need people here. Programs like this play an important role in the community. Moms and dads who are trying to keep food on the table depend on this place.”
